Candida albicans symptoms vary depending on the location of the yeast infection and its severity. In the vagina, the symptoms include painful menstruation, painful sexual intercourse and painful urination, severe itching, inflammation of the vulva/vagina, and a think whitish discharge. Symptoms of Candida Albicans on the mouth include bad breath, pain/difficulty while swallowing food, white-yellowish raised pustules on the mucous membrane and on the tongue. There will also be a very thick white layer on the tongue which upon scrapping, can expose fissures. Candida albicans on the skin will manifest as lesions, rash or acne.
